On-campus:
Meeting or Event Spaces:
- Classroom Management: Reserve a classroom (free during weekdays, fees may apply after hours and on weekends). Simple classroom search
- SUA Space Reservations: Reserve space in CMU and Outdoor Spaces such as the Lind Courtyard (fees may apply)
- Outdoor Space Information: Information on the outdoor space reservation process, policies, etc. Outdoor spaces must be reserved at least 10 business days in advance.
Event Spaces:
- Keller Hall Atrium Requests: Email ECE Department with your event date and time request. They have the discretion to approve or deny.
- Tate Hall Atrium Requests: Email Physics Department with your event date and time request. They have the discretion to approve or deny.
- Frontier Hall Main Lounge Requests: Frontier is home to a significant number of first-year CSE students (over 1/5 of the entire class). Submit a request to University Housing and Residential Life. They have the discretion to approve or deny. NOTE: Frontier is a secure building and should not be used for anything other than events focused on first-year students.
- CSE Conference Rooms and Event Spaces: Seminar rooms and reception space in Walter Library, 4th Floor, and Seminar room and reception space in Keller Hall, 3rd Floor
- Northrop Space Rental: Offers student group specific rates. Exclusive Caterer: Surdyk's
- Recreation and Wellness Facility Reservations: RecWell Center, Fieldhouse, Sports Dome, Fields (fees apply) RecWell Exclusive Caterer: French Meadow
- Campus Club (CMU, 4th Floor): Special rates to CLPs with membership. Exclusive Caterer: Internal
- McNamara Alumni Center Rental: Special rates to CLPs. Exclusive Caterer: D'Amico or 1851 Heritage Catering
- Weisman Art Museum Space Rental: Fees apply
- Gopher Sports Spaces (Stadium Premium Spaces): Offers student group discount
- Gopher Event Rentals (Stadium/Arena, Fields, Courts, etc.): Fees may apply
- Humphrey Center Conference Center: On the West Bank. Offers University rates.
Workshop and Specialty Spaces
- Exceed Lab (Keller Hall 2-160 and 2-164): Information about access and training, tool inventory, contacts, and more.
- Anderson Student Innovation Labs: Information about access and training, tool inventory, contacts, and more. Locker storage is also available in the ME 2-134 location.
- BBE Makerspace: Information about access and training, tool inventory, contacts, and more.
- CSE Labs Room Reservations: Reserve a computer classroom
- University Library Spaces: Group study spaces and 1:Button Studios available in Walter Library, Health Sciences Library, also on West Bank and in St. Paul. Not meant for events, but could be used for small group meetings.
- The Toaster in Walter Library: The Toaster is a place where ideas are generated, discoveries are made, and entrepreneurial spirits are ignited.
- Bio-medical Library Makerspace: Student-driven innovation lab with maker equipment.
- Student Union Lockers: CMU has lockers available for rent in a number of buildings around campus (i.e. Akerman, Keller, and Smith) for a fee.

Event Spaces
- The University has standard contracts and agreements with a number of local hotels and event centers including the Graduate Hotel, the Days Hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn (University), and the Courtyard (Downtown). If your student group is interested in reserving lodging or event space in one of these locations and you'd like to receive the University rate, please work with your group's University staff or faculty advisor directly or contact the CSE Student Engagement and DEI team.
