Reporting Misconduct

While we hope that it is rare, student groups may encounter situations where affiliated University community members are accused of misconduct. Depending on the severity of the accusations, student group officers, advisors, and general members should feel empowered to report such incidents to the University and/or others to ensure the safety of all University community members.

The Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Office provides a list of options for individuals to report misconduct by University community members.

Options include reporting sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, nepotism, or retaliation. You may make reports anonymously. Additionally depending on the severity and/or urgency of the situation you may want to file a report with relevant police, government, or other external agencies.
