Post Grant Reports

Student groups that receive a small grant from the College of Science and Engineering Student Services are REQUIRED to submit a post grant report highlighting how the funds were spent and the impact that the funds had on your event, project, and/or those that attended/participated. Please answer the following questions with as much detail as possible.

Grant reports should be submitted as soon as possible after hosted events have occurred, students have returned from travel, projects have concluded, and/or at the end of each semester (which ever comes first). Groups that fail to submit a timely post grant report will be ineligible for future grants for one calendar year after the original grant was awarded.

Questions that should be answered:

  • What was the result of the event/program/project? What impact did it have? Why was this event/program/project important?
  • How many CSE students were engaged by your project/program/event?
  • How would you evaluate your event/program/project? Are you happy with the end result? Why or why not?
  • If you have a significant surplus of funds remaining (>1/3 of what you received), how do you plan to spend it?
  • OPTIONAL: Pictures from your event(s), meeting(s), or project(s) that can be used to demonstrate the impactful work of CSE student groups.

Answers to these questions will assist CSE in their efforts to secure future funding to support small grants. Versions of your responses will be shared with corporate/industry sponsors showcasing the value of their sponsorships. It is our hope that by providing substantial value, sponsorship may be sustained for future years.
